Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about SiteDialect.

What is SiteDialect?
SiteDialect is a drop-in translation widget that makes any website multilingual. You add one line of code to your site, and visitors can instantly view your content in their preferred language.
How do I add SiteDialect to my website?
Sign up, add your website in the dashboard, and paste the provided script tag into your site's HTML head. The entire process takes less than two minutes.
What languages are supported?
SiteDialect currently supports over 20 languages including Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Farsi, Korean, Russian, Hindi, and many more. We're adding new languages regularly.
How does the translation work?
SiteDialect uses advanced AI to translate your page content naturally and fluently. Translations preserve your site's structure, styling, and layout. Every translation is cached server-side for instant delivery on subsequent visits.
Will it affect my site's performance?
No. The widget script is lightweight and loads asynchronously. Translations are cached server-side, so after the first translation, pages load instantly. There's no impact on your Core Web Vitals.
Does it support right-to-left (RTL) languages?
Yes. SiteDialect fully supports RTL languages like Arabic, Hebrew, and Farsi. When a visitor switches to an RTL language, the page layout adapts automatically while preserving your design.
Is it SEO-friendly?
Yes. SiteDialect translates your page titles, meta descriptions, and Open Graph tags along with visible content. This means search engines can index your translated content properly.
How much does SiteDialect cost?
SiteDialect is completely free during our beta period. No credit card required, no usage limits. We'll introduce premium tiers in the future with advanced features.
Do I need to be a developer to use it?
Not at all. If you can paste a line of code into your website's HTML (or use your platform's "custom code" feature), you can set up SiteDialect. We have guides for WordPress, Shopify, Wix, and more.
What happens when my website content changes?
SiteDialect automatically detects content changes on your pages. When we detect a change, the affected translations are flagged and automatically re-translated to stay current.
