Add SiteDialect to Wix
Translate your Wix website into 20+ languages using AI. Works with both Wix Editor and Wix Studio—no coding knowledge required.
Installation in 4 Steps
Step 1 — Copy your snippet
Log in to your SiteDialect dashboard and copy the script tag for your site.
<script src="https://cdn.sitedialect.com/sd.js"
data-site-id="YOUR_SITE_ID"
defer></script>
Step 2 — Open Custom Code settings
In your Wix dashboard, navigate to Settings → Custom Code. If you don’t see this option, make sure your site is on a Premium plan—Wix requires a paid plan to add custom code.
Step 3 — Add to Head
Click + Add Custom Code. Paste your snippet into the code field. Set the following options:
- Name: SiteDialect
- Add Code to Pages: All pages
- Place Code in: Head
Click Apply.
Step 4 — Publish and verify
Publish your site, then visit it in a new browser tab. The SiteDialect language switcher should appear. Test a translation to confirm everything works.
Compatibility Notes
- Wix Editor & Wix Studio: Both editors support Custom Code. The integration steps are identical for each.
- Wix Stores: Product listings, category pages, and the shopping cart are translated automatically.
- Wix Blog: Blog posts and their metadata are translated. New posts are picked up as they’re published.
- Dynamic pages: Content loaded from Wix databases (CMS collections) is translated on render, so dynamic pages work without extra setup.
SEO Benefits
Wix’s built-in multilingual feature requires you to manually manage translated content for every page. SiteDialect handles translations automatically and makes them indexable, so your site can rank in local search results across multiple languages without duplicating pages or managing parallel content trees in the Wix editor.
